Mission

Our Mission

Humans for Rights Network (HfRN) is a need-led human rights organisation working in solidarity with people forced to migrate. We exist to facilitate safety and dignity, to document and challenge human rights abuses within asylum and border systems, and to advance a rights-based approach to migration across the UK and Northern Europe.

We are led and informed by the people we work with. Through investigative casework, cross-border collaboration, survivor-led witnessing and strategic advocacy, we seek both individual remedies and systemic change, confronting structural racism, discrimination and the violence embedded in hostile border regimes.

Our Vision

We envision a world free from the abuse of people forced to migrate and from the impunity of those in power -  the architects of, and those who enact hostile border regimes. A world in which no person is subjected to violence, exploitation, or harm as a result of movement. A future without borders - where freedom of movement, non-violence and dignity shape how people move and live. A world where those affected by violence or abuse are able to access justice, assert their rights safely and confidently and secure meaningful accountability without fear of victimisation. And where states operate policies that uphold humanity, protection, and dignity rather than inflict harm.
